Benson Reunion 2012

I've collected a number of international flags that represent our family history. Some family member thought we were a Renaissance Fair, others a flag store, and still some the United Nations.

Chantell and Presley. Joel is here somewhere.

Tiffany kicking back.

Dave and Presley hanging out.

Ronda and Tiffany sharing a meal.

The Benson Family.  Those that came.  We'll see everyone else next year.  Right?
 The Brown Family.
The twins Straton and Ezra, and Grandma Benson.
Don't you wish you knew what she was thinking?
 Dave and Matt.
 The Boys, Chantell and Presley.
 Kyson batting at the pinata.
 Jude's turn.
 Kyler and Heidi.
 Samantha
Night covers the camp and everyone settles into a gaming of Mexican Train (dominoes).

Photo Day

Today, Ronda, Tiffany, and I went on an adventure to take pictures and learn a few things about photography and light. Our first stop was random at the Hyrum Cemetery. Can you believe that we found a grave of a member of the Mormon Battalion?

This plaque was smaller than a DVD. I put a feather, and two pinecones that I found on the ground next to it.

When people started arriving for a funeral we got in the car and continued our adventure. This time to Baxter Hill.

Ronda is taking pictures and recording her settings to remember how she got what effect.

Can you find what is hiding?

Okay, so I liked the post.

Tosha's Park

We had a great time at Tosha's park at Thanksgiving time.  Marmie (Ronda), Chantell, and Bergen are hopscotch pros.

Rugby Visit to Tosha's

Tosha and Tyler gave me a Christmas present to come to Vegas and see the World Rugby Seven's Matches.  What a fun trip.  Enjoy!

Last Family Gathering to Say "Until We Meet Again"

Benson family gathered for the passing of Grandpa Benson.

Tiffany's Bike Ride

Tiffany participated in the Special Olympics bike race in Park City Utah. Tanielle and the girls came to watch Tiff race.

Joker and Prince

Tanielle, Matayia, and Bergen got to meet the horses I ride with Chuck. They help me feed the horses while Chuck was visiting his daughter in Arizona.

Face Painting Uncle Dave

I thought Sydney and Samuel would love having their faces painted. Which they did.

Face Painting Continued

They say, "What goes around, comes around."

This must be true in face painting. I thought, for children, the fun would be getting your face painted. Sydney had a better idea, "Uncle Dave, may we paint your face?" I didn't see that coming.

The next morning, Sydney painted one side of my face and Samuel paint the other.
Samuel painted camouflage on his side.

P.S. Sydney also took the top and continued down the nose with a beautiful flower.

Hyrum Rodeo

Hyrum Rodeo

Chantell suggested that we have a family cookout and go to the Hyrum Rodeo to celebrate Father's Day. I think we should make it a family tradition each year.

We had a late Father's Day party at the Hyrum Rodeo as a family.  My children made my summer. Summer  June 2011.
